THIS IS MY FIRST TIME, WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
The Training Room workouts are designed to be functional in nature. This is REAL FITNESS for REAL PEOPLE, designed for all fitness levels. Here is a step by step guide of what you can expect from the moment you sign up for a free class pass:

CHECK YOUR EMAIL
Once you have provided us with your details, we will email you a confirmation and attach all the details of our classes, the location and contact details. We will also send you a Whatsapp message with the location details.

SAVE OUR LOCATION
Make sure that you save our location, check the location map or click here for our GOOGLE MAPS LOCATION.

ARRIVE EARLY
If it is your first time, please make sure that you arrive 15 minutes before the start of your first class so that your coach can take you through an induction.

WHAT TO BRING
Make sure that you are dressed in comfortable sporting attire, be sure to bring a bottle of water to the class, hydration is important!

MEET YOUR COACH
At your induction, you will be taken through the Training Room class concept in detail by your coach. The coach will explain our system, including variations for exercises to enable them to cater to all fitness levels.

TELL US ABOUT ANY ISSUES
Part of the purpose of the induction is to take you through a physical assessment and understand any medical or training-related issues that may impact your performance. Our coaches will always suggest variations that allow you to work around such injuries where possible.
#2 THE INDUCTION

THE WARMUP
At the beginning of each class, your coach will take you through a thorough warm up that ensures that activation of all your major muscle groups and stabilising muscles.

WORKOUT
Push yourself outside of your comfort zone in the course of your workout, with scalable exercises and variations available that ensure whether you are a trained athlete or a total beginner, you will be out of breath!

WARM DOWN
The end of the workout is marked by a warm down and stretching session which will be guided by your coach. This is designed to help prevent injury and enhance recovery.
THE TRAINING ROOM WORKOUTS EXPLAINED
Each weekly program is designed in a way to challenge the huge variety and capabilities of the human body and basic movement. We use a mixture of sessions focussed on building strength and power, as well as sessions focused on building cardiovascular endurance.

WORKOUT ONLINE
Whatever the reason you are stuck at home, you can join in online with the Training ZOOM. Our online classes push you through the same workouts with variations that take into account the equipment you have available.

MINIMAL EQUIPMENT
All you need is your body, some time, a yoga mat and space. You can join our classes with as little or as much equipment as you want! Check out our blog post that gives you the kit we would buy on a budget, and the kit we would buy with unlimited budget.

MEASURING PROGRESS
We conduct multiple tests regularly that help us measure your progress, this includes a fitness test, measuring your body composition (body weight, muscle mass, body fat percentage and waist size), ensuring you take regular progress pictures and using personal fitness monitoring devices.

TRACK RECORD
From month to month, your track record will show your progress, our assessments are designed to reflect crucial aspects of your aerobic and anaerobic fitness. This helps you to understand how our workouts help to shape your progress.

ACCOUNTABILITY IS KEY
Accountability helps build discipline and is a significant multiplier for the effect of our workouts. Your welcome pack is filled with tools and guidance designed to empower you on your journey.

MENTORSHIP
Think of the Training Room as a community, we don't just workout together, we go on trips, we set up talks with nutritionists and experts and we regularly self-host mentorship and awareness workshops to help enhance your knowledge of nutrition and gearing your intake to maximise the results you see.

GETTING OUTDOORS
Our Outdoor Club organises regular fitness-based excursions, whether it is hiking across the mountains of Ras Al Khaimah or stand up paddleboarding around Palm Jumeirah, there is always something to look forward to!

CHALLENGES
Challenge yourself with our Outdoor Club community, we are currently gearing our outings to help prepare for a Kilimanjaro summit attempt scheduled for October 2021! The summit attempt will raise money for Gulf For Good, a local charity based in Dubai that raises money for projects that directly improve children in less fortunate countries.
