    The Training Room is more than just a HIIT workout class, this is a community of like-minded people who all share one goal, to live balanced and healthy lives that feature fitness and physical activity. Our Outdoor Club organises regular fitness-based excursions and take along anyone who wants to join us, from kayaking around the Palm Jumeirah to hiking in the mountains and wadis of Ras Al Khaimah.

    FUNCTIONAL TRAINING

    Functional training focuses on building fitness that helps you in your daily life. This is a crucial aspect of fitness, helping you to build strength, power and mobility that translates way beyond the gym. Published research has shown functional training to be more effective in increasing athletic performance. We have incorporated functional training aspects in our training methodology, with multiple exercises dedicated to enhancing your mobility, stability as well as strength.

    INJURY PREVENTION

    You can only keep fit if you can keep active. Our modern lifestyles do not provide many opportunities to build the tendons and ligaments that help stabilise your major muscles and joints. Our workouts always include muscle activation and stabilisation exercises, as well as a warm-down stretch at the end of every class.

    STRENGTH & CONDITIONING

    Years of research has proven the efficacy of strength and conditioning exercises in improving the health and fitness of all age groups and fitness levels. The Journal of Strength & Conditioning Research focuses on publishing this research and includes older adults in the age groups that would benefit from incorporating regular strength and conditioning exercises in their weekly routine. Because of this, when training at the Training Room you will see noticeable improvements in your strength and stamina!

    NUTRITIONAL AWARENESS

    The most important change our members make is in their understanding of nutrition. We incorporate nutritional awareness in our training and focus on this with our members because it is what allows them to maximise the results that they see while training with the Training Room!
